I understand your complaints, and honestly I am very frustrated and saddened by the current situation as well. I unfortunately am not in a position to enact the suggestions that are being demanded as though they are an easy fix I am too selfish to do. I genuinely wish I could. I'm sorry.
I will continue to look for a better solution. Until then though, I am doing everything in my power to fund my continued existence as an adult game developer. I hope that in the process of doing that I will be able to produce games people enjoy. I will not be releasing anything for early access in the future, as I understand and agree the current situation is unfair.
Would you ever consider sharing more about why steam is off-limits? It feels really bizarre and arbitrary considering the other suite of nsfw games already hosted there, would be interesting to know why this game in particular is getting shafted in that respect.
Yes. I don't enjoy talking about it because it is upsetting to me. But they felt the game contained sexual content depicting minors. They did not elaborate on where or how. I can only assume they were able to use the character create to make a character that looked inappropriately young, or the random generated characters I had in an early build did so by bad luck.
I have since added additional character create rules to reduce this possibility (breasts required unless masculinity is raised). I can't go into detail about Steam's rules, but the decision is final.
Have you possibly thought about advertising it through FA or E621 (or other similar places)? With links redirecting to this page and other places.
It still comes up through google and I can still load this page from other devices I am not logged into. So I feel like there may be other opportunities.
Also GOG has nsfw games on their website/browser now, so that could be another place to try selling it.
I don't think that would be right, I would be more okay with the current game just being free to play at this point. But I don't really understand why they are super set to have it on Steam either, I feel like there are definitely more options they just do not want to partake.
Though I would also like there to be a release of all the work that was accomplished since the last game update as a sign of goodwill. I have a feeling the game was abandoned shortly after the last update we got.
Are we going to see a final update with all the content/fixes you were able to accomplish since June? So we can atleast enjoy everything that was worked on up to this point?

What about making a free page to advertise the game, with a link to this page?
Maybe add a demo on the free page to give people a taste of the game too?

This game is already advertised on E621. That is how I found it in the first place.
