Meet and interact with characters on your travels. Find instruction obelisks to learn new sexual positions, and flirt with characters in the wild islands to entice them to try some.

Be patient all, remember at the very least Raliv is shooting straight for a 1.0 release which is great even if all we hope for is not accomplish. I'll gladly take this than all the other devs releasing never fixed bugs and incomplete games.

almost 3 months have passed since last update, so we currently missing patch 0.12, patch 0.13 and in a moment patch 0.14
what's the reason of this delay? you promised to release new update each month and I'm genuinely curious how this project will look like when it will be finished, also hoping this game will not be abandoned once you will start new project, it's really fun game even in current state because of the physics and the fact that we loot randomly generated maps.

But to sum it up, they going to be busy with the game til they can release 1.0
if this is really going to be 1.0 I'm not sure if this game will be good, it's too early.
there game lacks sounds, for pretty much everything, UI could be polished, right now feels simple, there's nothing cool about it it's just there, world generation could be improved, more structures, biomes etc, also could be bigger chunk based maybe or something to let the game run smoother with much bigger maps to explore.
also combat, I feel like it's the main aspect of this game but currently the game combat is also really barebones, you hit first or get hit, that's pretty much it, each hit means getting ragdolled, enemies are pretty much dead when they ragdoll because they can't do anything or you the player, nothing unique about the combat also just there.
also there's no end goal, early access versions don't have any bosses etc and feels like the game was made to have such things to enounter yet there's nothing, leveling also only let's us enter higher tier areas that look exactly the same, and from my experience higher levels don't change much, maybe enemies get stronger but I never felt that the game actually gets harder, even without any gear I was doing fine.
and sex scenes, they actually got improved, but also that's the main focus of this game but they are also kinda there? idk but in a game I feel like there should be more interactions but all we do is pick animation and watch, at some point the animation just speeds up before it finishes.
maybe all of these things I mentioned gonna actually be in 1.0 who knows, but if not I think there should be more updates before 1.0 because the game doesn't really feel like it is close to being finished and for me at least this looks like attempt for the dev to just move on and abandon this game.
also sorry for slight rant, but maybe Raliv will listen and still work on this game a bit longer before focusing on new project.

I feel you're applying a bit too much pressure to this project. Like you're wanting it to be something it can't be. You made this evident in one of your earliest comments on the project iirc. I don't think this game, with a small team (or even less), is ever going to reach the expectations you place upon it.
I think it's justified to want it to be better, but you have to also consider whether or not it's realistic that a small team could make it as better as you think it could be. Ask what it would take for features to be added, the time, sometimes cost, and what you'd need to do. Not to mention life effects and how that often intertwines with developing, modeling, drawing and so forth.
There's a lot that has to be done, a lot of stuff that takes time. Realistically, you're not going to get these features, that sometimes takes month to get right, out monthly or even consistently. Sometimes you're lucky if you get it out at all. Really, to me, the issue isn't it not getting out.
I feel like a lot of people would just want to hear what's going on. I find that it's often a lack of communication in these projects that causes disconnects between devs and players. If information was made available and project updates, even if it was just blogposts, would be more than satisfactory to people. It'd create a bridge between player and dev, and would let us know why things are the way they are, and why things have to stop for one reason or another.

Unfortunately not, I don't think I can get performance fast enough for a decent android port. I also have no experience developing or distributing for android I'm afraid.

And to hopefully help prevent a deletion for spam, I am not a bot, and this is legitimately a server for purchasers to share and hang out in. Just to make it clear, neither I nor the server are directly associated with RalivDev other than for hosting community created content for the game.
I'm a member of this server and a preset creator in the past. The server has A LOT of presets and npcs to download. I had fun creating them at some point, but due to not having any new possibilities, I stopped doing them. Also you're free to ask any question about the game itself or just talk. a some people will probably answer pretty fast.
Also just incase anyone reads this, I still accept requests if you want some character that is not yet in the preset channel to be created and want me to do it! There are around 10 titled preset creators, and almost all of us have some differences in creating presets.

In fairness, Dragauka originally had 3 separate mods before they merged them into one rather than deal with a mod loader.

Considering they said they are trying to make the leap to 1.0, I feel like it'll be a while. Of course I hope there will be some other updates, but that's what RalivDev said if my memory serves.

Pretty sure they're working on another game rn, so once that comes out more updates for archi will probably come out.

I think there's a very low chance we'll see any appeal to niche fetishes or ones that depict such bodily-waste functions. Not in this game, at least, I'm not sure if it'd even be something you'd find on itch.io to be honest. It's not only niche, but also has a lot of disfavor laid upon it for the fact that it's considered "gross" by most people due to the fact it's unsanitary and so forth. Sex is already considered degenerate to a degree by more holier-than-thou types, and adding on urination would probably end in the immediate burial for indie games on most platforms like Itch.io, especially with the rounds that card companies are making.

An optimization to jiggle physics is on the way. This should improve CPU performance, and hopefully will be noticeable to most users
I got a question concerning the premade NPCs, because it seems like there are patterns to their spawns. When I am out on the islands, I almost always run into Dusk and Razor at some point. They turn up with much greater frequency than any of the other NPCs, and they're almost always together. When they're not together, they're wandering around the island alone rather than being in a group with other NPCs. Is there something to this observation, or is it just a coincidence?
I also noticed this for a while. I have about 90 NPCs (Ones I've made), but there are a number of consistent concurrent ones that cause me to think that the preset have some sort of coding that results in their appearances more. Maybe like a priority list.
What ive noticed is that when you give them certian clothing/equippables, there seems to be a certian "level". As in higher quality gear spawns them more towards the higher levels.
Ive tested this very briefly and found that giving your NPCs the "low quality" option gear/clothing will most likely spawn them around the Level 5 to Level 9 mark.
It might be deeper and perhaps everything has certian values that effect at what level your NPCs spawn, but from what i can tell its linked to what your give them.
Maybe there should be the toggleable option of random equipment? So that the NPCs can spawn whenever with appropriate gear.
This is just a personal theory, but I think your character's name might act as a seed or one is generated upon character creation as certain characters ive made seem to have more npcs spawn in the world than others.
Looks interesting, keeping an eye out for this game once the 1.0 release comes around. Fingers crossed Itch doesn't do anything stupid.

game is pretty fun and has a cute style. a few issues being npc will get stuck in places trying to run after each other when stuck in like a hole. animations for M x M look like they are penetrating under the balls instead of where it should. would recommend making a anal receiving animation to have a more correct looking animation. npc can be attacked by enemies and have no way to defend themselves would be probably a good idea for them to have weapon of decent quality which would also make a challenge for doing like a genocide run or something since i noticed you can hit npcs.
Considering the whole situation with Itch and Steam, I thought I'd point out something. GOG seems pretty supportive of adult games. They're talking about how their games are DRM free and owned forever, they were pushing back against the situation, and I saw that for two days they were offering NSFW games for free, including the very popular Sapphire Safari. It could be that they're just using the situation for PR, but I see that they actually have a lot of NSFW games on their store. And I think they allow Early Access.
I don't suppose this is coming to Steam any time soon-

I am currently working on optimizing jiggle physics since it will be a useful task regardless of the outcome of all of this censorship uncertainty.
I know it isn't exactly what a lot of folks want to hear, but a performance boost will be nice!
"Optimizing Jiggle Physics" was not on my bingo card, but it is hilarious realizing that's something that actually does need to be done in games like this.

There is a discord, it's just not publicly advertised for per se? It's only accessible via patronage to the patron, which is for the fact that it covers all of RalivDev's projects as I understand it.

Really like this game, it shows a lot of promise! I hope we get some options for classes eventually. As far a customization, I think scars would be a good addition. I can't wait to see what's next for the game!
I love this game! It has so much potential :D The animations and models are so fun - even just little things like the idles and running are a treat. They've put together a really nice little system, here, and I can see so many possibilities! It also runs really well on my system - better than I would have expected!
Combat is fairly simple, needs some work to be more interesting - but the foundation there is pretty good! (iirc the next thing they're working on is this combat and leveling system, so it may change very soon!) Currently, once you get some high level gear and a few health increases, you end up one-shotting and tanking just about everything. There is some slight enemy variety with some unique models for each, but the strategy for most usually ends up being - fly around (dash-jumping), get close, smack with weapon, repeat. There are enchantments for acquiring a couple spells, but the best thing really is just running up and smacking things (although the ice shard provides a nice, brief stun, at least). However, with more (and more interesting (and effective)) spells, I could totally see the game being capable of a decent magic system, where you could play primarily a spellcaster! I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to implement things like bows and arrows and such, for those who prefer archer types. :3 Though, in this case, the ability for enemies to react to being attacked (if grouped) would need to be adjusted so that you couldn't just snipe everything from far away without them reacting (as is the case, currently, if you use spells like ice shard), else it'll just be too easy. Maybe some bigger enemies with weak points could be added? All kinds of possibilities, here.
The clothing and character creation systems are pretty awesome! I like the variety (and many lewd options!) of clothing, the ability to dye and change patterns and such is really neat. With the character creation system, while not every possible combination can be made, there's a lot of opportunity for folks to bring their own OC into the game. c: You can also save the presets you design and make NPCs with them, that you could encounter in-game! Folks can also export these NPCs or Presets and share them, to share their OCs with others! However, one thing that is lacking is some kind of preview of the character in the menu. As-is, if you don't know the NPC's name, it's a lot of trial-and-error to guess which NPC you might be disabling or enabling (although there are pictures in the unofficial discord, to help!).
Speaking of the NPCs, the lewd system is quite fun! You will run across some NPCs in the areas you explore, either solo or in groups. You can flirt with them - drawing their attention to one set of goods of yours or another (which will indicate their preferences) - until they have little floating hearts indicating they're seduced. Then, you can offer or request some position or activity, with that seduced NPC. :3 You start off with a few animations unlocked, and you can gain more animations through exploration - there will be some standing stones with the name of the animation on them, to interact with. Once unlocked, you and the random NPCs can offer or request those animations to/from each other. When you aren't interacting with an NPC, NPCs will flirt with each other, and they will likely get up to lewd shenanigans of their own.
If among a group of NPCs, it might be neat if the NPCs that are interested in you would gather around and start masturbating or something, if you started banging with one of them. Otherwise, they tend to stand there and try to flirt or offer sex with you or each other. It's nice if they do it with each other, because then you've got two little scenes happening at once, now - but, often, they are too distracted by you. :p
The fluid system is awesome so far! Especially if you turn up settings. :3c By the end of a few interactions, you/your partners/everything around you might end up coated in sticky alabaster goo!~ It's just so fun, idunno. X'D
Currently, if you get knocked down/stunned, enemies won't continue to attack you, and nobody else reacts to it, either. If the enemies had dicks, I could see a possibility where they could take advantage of you (maybe an optional thing in the settings, for those who might prefer that on or off), maybe with a struggle mechanic or something. I could also see, maybe, the NPCs taking advantage, as well, if desired - whether you ragdoll or get knocked out by one of them. Speaking of..!
There's not currently any consequence for attacking NPCs, besides pissing them off and making them hostile toward you from then on. It doesn't affect anything in the future, and other NPCs will witness it happen and not even care. It might be an idea to implement some kind of notoriety system to add consequence to attacking NPCs, with good behavior and flirty/lewd interactions (or other activities for consolation, idk) soothing your reputation a bit. As-is, lewding-with (for XP and fun) and then knocking-out NPCs is a quick way to some decent gear to use or sell - especially NPCs you custom make (with pricy clothes, etc.) or imported from elsewhere. I think it might make sense to add a notoriety system such that NPCs might start attacking you on sight, for being known to be hostile. :p
It might also be cool if you could "recruit" NPCs to tag along with you, either in that level or throughout multiple levels (maybe even keep them in your house!). This could be tied into the notoriety system mentioned above, and/or just a lot of flirting/lewding might make them interested in sticking with you for more than that. c; Currently, they will try to follow you a bit, but they'll mostly be interested in trying to lewd the whole time and don't make effective combat companions. If a system like this was implemented, it might be neat to also be able to change their gear and stuff, to better equip them. Maybe you could get a whole party of loyal, lewd followers! Much possibility, here.
I enjoyed the little story interactions with the few NPCs which you speak with. The little expressions and animations are fun. :3 Currently, though, there's only very few NPCs you can interact in that way, with, in the home-world (as well as at the very start, and sometimes you'll run into them while exploring). After unlocking all of the house upgrades, the only one who has much value in interaction only offers one (fun!) repeatable sex scene. Of course, this is just a matter of time and filling out the world with more of these kinds of interactions you can have - again, the system as implemented is very good, so far! Any of the ideas, above, regarding interaction and recruiting of NPC could utilize this system, for example.
I'm not sure whether I would care for multiplayer or not. It does look like a game where multiplayer could be a thing, but I don't know how much it will really benefit from the dev time and energy. I'd rather they focused on the single-player experience, really.
There's tons of possibility for expansion to all the lewd that could take place in the game.
- As mentioned above, it might be cool if monsters, hostile NPCs, or just NPCs in general could take advantage of you, if you allowed it in settings or something (I'm sure there are some that might not care for it, considering it non-con/CNC).
- More lewd animations could always be added, although the full set of animations is really nice and well done so far! Maybe some threesome/foursome animations could be added, with a general "offer" being made and NPCs joining-in on their own (the system is already basically there, for it - would just need to make the animations and such :3 ).
- There's currently a little modpack out there that someone made which can add a few little extras that honestly could easily be added into the main game - it currently adds options for "growth" due to XP gain, "cum-flation," the ability to drastically increase/decrease (or change the color of) lewd "fluids," and belly-bumps from penetration (in one position only, currently). I'm not much a fan of the growth part, but the others are awesome! (While there is a way to adjust how much fluid there is, the fluid mod widens the capability of it for those who want that much more control over it.)
- Along with the above, it might be nice if some amount of official mod support was added, to ease the ability of making and adding mods. That way, the author isn't stuck trying/wanting to implement all the little features people would love to see in the game, which others could contribute! This game would be an awesome platform to allow for this amount of community contribution, I feel. :3
If you can't tell, I'm honestly impressed with and stoked about this game, and I wanna see it grow and be capable of so much! I've spent way more time playing this than I expected that I might. I hope the dev continues working on this (and doesn't lose steam like a lot of indie projects), fills out the world with all the things that they planned and more, and makes it easier for others to contribute things that they don't want to spend time on. It's a really great game, and I'm so looking forward to more! <3

Is the $15 purchase a one time thing, or does it need to be done with every consecutive update? This looks really interesting but I'd rather pay a higher one time payment towards the end of development than a repeating charge of $15 for each patch.

It's a 1 time purchase, to download future updates just go to the top right, click your name and you should see an option that says "my library" that's where you can download them from. hopefully this game doesn't get taken down due to the new censorship thing.

Yeah, but Atlyss was built from the ground up to be an online game.
It's often not an easy task to just jam online into a game that was never designed for it. The developer would likely have to rewrite massive chunks of almost every gameplay related script to both; get things syncing across clients and working with more than one player.
Not to mention, Archipelagates is a singleplayer game at it's core, and just slapping online into it with no considerations given to how this could effect the actual experience would be a poor decision, so parts of the game's design would likely need to be altered too, and it appears like the dev wants to wrap up development, not extend it.
not to mention how dangerous it could be if handled improperly. like webfishing's online. so i agree no online. (also dev i appreciate you adding the content i requested on twitter during your original fluids update.)
The customisation is amazing!
The game itself is quite fun, but it feels a bit, empty at the moment. Would also be cool to have a feature where you can customise existing NPCs, as well as more intractability with them.
But, I'm loving it so far. Can't wait to see what the new updates will look like
I've been playing this game with a friend quite a bit recently, and we're having fun exploring and fucking and all that, but we also like making NPCs and sharing them too.
So do you mind if I suggest a few things?
And of course, there are other things but I don't want to write an entire essay.
My only other request is to have a half pattern for the tail and genitals too. I want to make a character that is entirely two tone, but if I want it to look any good, I they can't have a dick or a tail.
But yeah, you have a good game here, and I'll very likely keep playing it for a while!~

Hey will you eventually allow the exporting of 3d models so that people can make characters using the character creator (Honestly the best character creation workflow I've ever used), and use those models in blender or something, or if that is something you do not want to do, will you add a photo mode or something simmilar?
I wanted to do this, but the game does a LOT of messing with the model at runtime with the character create, and it would require a lot of rework to reproduce and bake those changes into an export. It might be something I explore in the future though.. It's hard to have a fun character create and not use the results for more stuff!
i think it would be incredible if you could pull off what the commenter said above, your character creator and it's models are easily one of the best furry creator tools i've seen in a game so far!

Well... You can't really kiss, but you can do everything else you can do with NPCs ... She is also a random Spawn NPC like the other islanders. She's just hard to persuade.

I also wanted it so that when a character came into another person, the stomach would fill up and not disappear for a long time (until the character pulls his penis out of another character).And I can also advise you to make such a function that when the player or NPC finished, the player could press some button, then the sex would continue (until the player presses the space bar on the example, then the sex would not end), and with the NPC it is more difficult, when the NPC finished, then he would use the code that the author used it to make NPCs flirt, have sex, etc. (I practically don't know how to program).I hope you get the gist!
