(Never thought I'd ever say such thing but) the dicks are getting stuck on the character's own asses. It ain't even have to be extremely long ones to happen. I dunno if it's just me, cause I haven't see anyone else mention it.
I've been thinking about this a lot. It'd be nice to bring people in to live in the town and maybe like, set them on missions to gather things or let them work on building on the town? At the very least have them walk around and talk to other towns people to liven it up a bit.
The thing that keeps jumping to mind to me is the robots you could recover and send on little away missions in Megaman X Command Mission and they'd bring back weird supplies you as the player couldn't normally find.
I just lost my last save to the enchantment bug like before it was reported x3 and it doesn't look like I can recover it.
I was encountering an issue though where I couldn't dye most my clothes except one bikini top and a pair of gloves. The dye wouldn't take on the leather boots/thigh highs or any of the pants I had, (Rags and Leather).
no big deal! I expect this sort of thing to happen a lot! I'm still having fun just jumping around and thinking about things that I might like to see in the game.
The Save Protection Hotfix has been uploaded! Details are in the Hotfix development log above, but in short this should reduce the likelihood of corrupted saves.
Had a realization that maybe you've already also had, but if more debuffs and such are planned in the future with enemies, it may be fun to have some themed around various kinks! Off the top of my head bound, inflated (cumflation from too much 'fun' maybe), or hypnotized come to mind as things that may not be terribly difficult to implement. These could be from enemies, traps, or other characters that can be found in the overworld. As the game evolves if more kinks are added it may also be nice to add an options page to toggle on/off various effects for players to customize their adventure somewhat.
As is with update 1 I'm really glad for the visuals added! Nice to not be totally null for fem base characters. The skeletons also are looking very cool now!
I also had an idea of if you have 'fun' with over 3-4 people you start to "fill" and maybe there would be a way to empty it when you wanted lol. And if there is a hot biome (sands or lava etc.) musk or visual sweat would be cool.
But these are just ideas I thought of while playing. I know making a game is VERY hard and I'm sure he is hard at work doing the main stuff so I don't want to stress them out.

I'm encountering an error when I talk to the first(?) character and it just gets stuck like this so I have to Alt+F4 - which also means I can't proceed passed this point. The game isn't "Frozen" like they're stuck in their idle animation, legs quivering, I'm like idly marching in place. But no button I push progresses the dialogue or lets me back out of it.I'm running this on Proton Experimental through steam since I'm on Linux but I don't know if that'd cause this since nothing else in the game is having issues. I'm really enjoying the movement tech and just hopping around so far.
If we're supposed to be uploading bug reports elsewhere pls let me know
It isn't very clear, but you have to click specifically on the text box to proceed in dialog. If you are using a steam deck you will need to use the touch screen.
I attempted it like 3 times but I couldn't see my cursor to try to do that, it was like still in normal gameplay mode and not menu mode. After I restarted my computer it stopped doing that and I was able to proceed but I was still a little confused at what I was supposed to do at first until I did see my mouse and realized I had to click the dialogue box. Been having a lot of fun hopping around since

So I was trying to go to town when the game black screen on me. I can till play but I couldn't see. I was able to closed the game but now when I try to play again I get an error in red letter next to character's name, and I can't play with that character. Is this a new bug or an old one? how do I fix this?
The error message appears when a game save was corrupted due to the game crashing or closing during a save. There is currently no way to fix it.. I am sorry it happened, and I will do my best to make it more resilient to that in the next patch.

The controls and core gameplay feel smooth, and the character creation alone is very promising, one of the most extensive already among NSFW games I've played.
I hope for more options and details for character customization like skin material/shininess (glossy/oiled look), muscle definition like abs, veins, and overall muscle toning and such.
Quite early for this question I think, but will this game ever have a multiplayer side to it, as in just a hub where people could connect and have 1v1's or something like that?
Multiplayer would be awesome, but it is a really significant workload. I would love to get better at multiplayer development, but I don't think I can fit it into development of Archipelagates at this point.
It is pretty time consuming to make drag and drop inventories work with controller. I will probably not be able to look into that in the near future. Sorry -_-

I don't know what your plans are with the sexual part of the game for me, it's not why I play the game, to be honest. I really enjoy the hack slash part of it, the game loop is really fun at the moment even tho there's not much to do when you reach 20 that's it… Still it's fun.
But if you really wanted to do something about the animation part you could just add an Orgasm Bottom so you can either leave the animation to go for as long as you want or just orgasm instantly or a few secs after the animation started IDK… I'm not a game dev nor know anything about coding, hah.
As long as I can progress through the game with as little sexual acts as possible, I'm going to be happy.

If you use the Itch App, it does it automatically! If you are downloading manually, you will need to download the game again and run the new version. You can tell it is patch 0.2 if the upper right of the main menu says 0.230 in faded text (I should really make it easier to tell...)
This had little to do with that, I had been playing for a few hours before the update and I guess the update landing caused a soft loft/crash so the file got corrupted. it's ok, not the first file to fail to save.
Oh no! That sucks! I suspect there might be ways for me to guard against failed saves. I will try to look into finding a method to reduce that risk. Sorry that happened!

Modding support is pretty challenging. I don't want to say no because I agree it would be awesome, but I can't commit to it at this time since the game still needs a lot.

Hello, I am having a problem when I get to the gate and there is an NPC there, I click E to interact with her but there are no dialog options, I think it is because of the game resolution is there a way for me to change it?
For a game on its' first real public release, you sure did put a lot of content into Archipelagates- The movement is engaging, the islands are super fun to zip around on and varied enough to be pretty replayable, the combat may not be the most engaging thing yet, but assumedly it'll be worked on.
The character art is adorable and very alluring, and the costume system is super neat too! It's a bit on-release cyberpunk, kinda scrambling around for whatever has the most statistic gains, leading to a lot of slutty outfits, which, while not to my taste, has a certain flair to it that I kind of enjoy. The animations themselves are pretty nice.
I don't care for the emotes a whole lot, they're a bit fast, hot and heavy- I think there could be a bit more sensual flirtiness to the emotes and less overt "look at me jittering violently," but the actual animations, while they do end pretty quickly, are high enough quality.
This game shows extreme promise and I'm excited to see where you go with it! :)

I just recently found this game through Discord on Gator Dragon Games. I'm glad I did, I'm in love with the fact I can wall jump and air dash and the Idle animation is great too. 😍 I look forward to what is to come with the future updates!
I hope more body patterns will be added for the dragons that include body plating and some for the tail itself.

How can I apply dye and pattern to clothing?
You will need to find a dying station in the wild. Once you find one, just add a clothing item and a dye and wait a moment.
Some clothing does not dye properly yet, I'll fix this in a future patch.
How rare are dying stations to find? I've been looking for a minute and haven't seen one. Thanks for the info tho!
Pretty rare.. they appear in large structures randomly.

Dyes always dye layer 1 of each clothing item. Some clothing has multiple layers, and I still need to make the dye system work properly on them.

I was made aware of a very bad corrupted save bug that happens when a glove enchantment is added with an enchantment adding station.
If you run into this, don't delete the save! I am uploading a hotfix patch tomorrow that should both prevent the issue and uncorrupt your save.
Thanks for the heads up, I'll probably just avoid enchanting gloves for the time being then.

Cool. Is there a way to delete the save so I don't have to see it anymore, or am I just stuck with it until I'm able to do so?
Go to this location on (usually) your C drive (copy and paste works in the file location of your file browser)
%appdata%\..\LocalLow\RalivDev\Archipelagates\saves
You can then delete the save file directly and safely from there.
You can make backups by copying the file if you want, too.

It did not do shit automatically, I had to click the gear on the bottom right then click manage then check for updates.

The new patch added a resolution option in the escape menu in game. Let me know if you still can't see dialogs.

i managed to resolve the issue, the first character i had was bugged so i just removed that one and it worked

There isn't currently an in game way. For now the saves exist in your appdata folder on windows and can be deleted there.
Paste the following into your file explorer to find the directory

Experiencing massive lag in the character creator
I haven't seen this reported before. Does it lag in game? What kind of hardware are you running it on?
5700XT+3700X, 32GB Ram on Windows 10. Forgot to mention that its not all the time, will sometimes move very smoothly when tabbing back into the game.
Have yet to proceed fully into the game just yet, but will let you know if any other issues arise.
